Комната должна быть достаточно просторной и светлой, регулярно проветриваемой. Необходимо проводить ежедневные влажные уборки. Лучше всего, когда пол в комнате деревянный. Вообще знайте: все предметы, с которыми соприкасается Ваш малыш, должны быть из натуральных материалов. Но если пол в Вашей квартире покрыт линолеумом, не переживайте. Если линолеум не содержит слоя полихлорвинила и не был обработан синтетическими смолами, он не вреден для ребенка. Несомненное достоинство линолеума в том, что его очень легко обрабатывать. Нежелательны в детской комнате всевозможные коврики, ковры, дорожки, но уж если от них невозможно отказаться, то необходимо регулярно чистить их пылесосом. Также следует пылесосить и стены. Об этом многие родители забывают, полагая, что пыль может собираться только на горизонтальных поверхностях.
Болезнетворные микробы, как правило, попадают в комнату к ребенку с пылью, а пыль приносится на обуви. Следовательно, необходимо переобуваться в специальные тапочки, когда вы входите в детскую.
Необходимо почаще проветривать помещение. Ребенка на время проветривания переносите в другую комнату. Или проветривайте во время его прогулки. Самый эффективный способ проветривания – сквозняк. За несколько минут воздух в комнате меняется полностью. Можно оставлять приоткрытой на ночь форточку. Но при условии, что поступающий воздух не устремляется на ребенка (малыша можно загородить от форточки простыней). Сквозняка в комнате малыша быть не должно. Воздух в комнате не должен быть и слишком сухим, поэтому рекомендуется вывешивать на ночь влажное полотенце. Зимой, когда батареи греют очень сильно, вешайте на них мокрое полотенце.
Очень нужный предмет в детской комнате – стенной термометр. Он позволяет контролировать температуру. Температура в 18-20º С – оптимальная. Ночью она может быть еще ниже: 15-17º С. Стенной термометр следует поместить на уровне детской кроватки. Тогда Вы можете быть уверены, что не ошибаетесь в измерениях. Над полом всегда холоднее, чем под потолком.
Всегда помните о необходимости соблюдения тишины, если в комнате (квартире) у вас маленький ребенок. Для нормального физического и психического развития малышу необходима тишина.
