Что же делать? Прежде всего, никогда не обращайтесь к малышу с просьбой из другой комнаты. Каждый раз, когда Вы о чем-то его просите, нужно находиться рядом с ним и говорить, глядя ему в глаза, спокойно и вежливо.
ЗДЕСЬ НУЖЕН НЕ КНУТ, А ПРЯНИК
Ведь если ребенок чувствует себя нужным и полезным, слышит от взрослых слова благодарности, он с большим рвением будет помогать им. Если же родители ведут себя как диктаторы, они воспитают либо мятежника, либо забитого, покорного человека, который потом никогда не будет уверенно чувствовать себя в жизни. Покажите своему малышу, что Вы уверены в нем, и не забудьте похвалить его даже за само собой разумеющиеся вещи: за приведенную в порядок комнату, за собранный назавтра портфель, за вымытую посуду. Не забывайте и о благодарности за экстренную помощь, например, за поход в магазин за хлебом и молоком.
Даже если результат оставляет желать лучшего, в нем можно увидеть положительные стороны: «Сегодня ты убрал комнату лучше, чем вчера. У тебя с каждым днем получается все лучше и лучше». Речь идет не о том, чтобы хвалить за плохо сделанное дело, а о том, чтобы увидеть и по достоинству оценить то, что у ребенка получилось.

• Нужно убедиться не только в том, что Ваш ребенок Вас услышал, но и в том, что он Вас понял. Как же это сделать? Очень просто. Попросите ребенка, чтобы он повторил Ваше задание, а потом рассказал, что нужно для его выполнения. Фраза «Убери в своей комнате» может означать для младшего школьника совсем не то, что подразумеваете Вы. Возможно, малышу придется перечислить вслух шаги, которые ему нужно сделать для выполнения задания.

Сначала ты чистишь зубы, а потом смотришь телевизор. Если ты не почистишь их сейчас, тебе придется это делать во время мультфильмов, и ты их пропустишь». Если Ваш сорванец не будет слушаться, выключите телевизор и не включайте, пока он не почистит зубы.

Ни в коем случае нельзя прибегать к масштабным угрозам типа «Не уберешь сейчас разбросанные в комнате вещи, вообще больше не дам смотреть телевизор». Во-первых, в исполнение таких угроз слабо верится, а во-вторых, они заставляют ребенка злиться и бояться.
• И, наконец, если Ваш ребенок спросит Вас, почему он должен выполнять Ваше поручение, нельзя отвечать «Потому что я так хочу». Спокойно и коротко (не нужно вступать в пространные объяснения) скажите ему, зачем надо выполнить эту просьбу. Малыш увидит, что Вы считаетесь с ним, проявляете уважение. Но, ни в коем случае не повторяйте объяснений по несколько раз и не вступайте в торги об условиях выполнения задания.
Своя комната — это хорошо, а свой собственный мир — еще лучше. Ведь комната для ребенка школьного возраста — это особая территория с четкой границей. Это суверенное государство. И привлекайте детей к оформлению их собственной комнаты. Советуйтесь с ними, в их головах такой кладезь фантазии!
