В последние годы производители сладких газированных напитков все чаще обвиняются в нанесении вреда здоровью, особенно детскому.
Домохозяйки считают шипучку отличным чистящим средством: она прекрасно справляется с ржавчиной, известковым налетом и отложениями кальция. А фермеры из восточного индийского штата Чхаттисгарх используют пепси и колу, чтобы защитить свои рисовые плантации от вредителей. По их словам, напитки стоят дешевле пестицидов, а действуют точно так же.
Все эти примеры звучать анекдотично. Но, как бы то ни было, результаты научных исследований подтверждают, что сладкие газированные напитки опасны для здоровья. Неслучайно по всему миру прокатилась волна «газированных » скандалов.
В американских и европейских школах уже запретили продажу шипучки. В Турции запретной зоной для «жидких леденцов», как называют газировку диетологи, стал Стамбульский центр концертов и конгрессов.
Власти нескольких индийских штатов приняли решение запретить продажу газированных напитков в правительственных зданиях и учебных заведениях.
Американский центр «За науку в интересах общества», потребовал от Федерального агентства по контролю за продуктами питания и лекарственными препаратами (FDA) поместить на банки и бутылки с шипучкой предупреждение о том, что она может вызвать ожирение, диабет и заболевания полости рта.
В этому году и в нашей стране было принято решение не рекомендовать газировку для питания детей в школах и детских садах. Заменить ее должны полезные продукты - прежде всего, молоко и кефир.
К таким запретам и политическим акциям можно относиться по-разному: хвалить власти за заботу о здоровье населения, ругать их за нарушение прав человека или воспринимать все это как очередной PR-ход компаний-производителей. Однако родители имеют право знать, какой вред наносит газировка здоровью детей. Об этом рассказывают наши эксперты.

Многообразная, хорошо обыгранная, часто повторяющаяся реклама популярных газированных напитков, их сладкий вкус, приятный аромат, разнообразные цвета и яркие этикетки создают серьезную угрозу для здоровья детей и подростков. Наиболее серьезными последствиями регулярного и частого употребления газированных напитков являются заболевания органов пищеварения; ожирение, сахарный диабет и кариес; мочекислый диатез и мочекаменная болезнь; аллергия.
Дошкольникам и детям, страдающим любым видом гастритов, гастродуоденитом, имеющим предрасположенность к сахарному диабету или мочекаменной болезни, употребление газированных напитков абсолютно противопоказано.
Категорически нельзя пить газировку натощак. Лучше заменить ее молочными продуктами, натуральными соками, компотами и фруктами.

Очевидно, что сладкие газированные напитки не могут добавить здоровья. Сахар и другие химические вещества, входящие в их состав, «обманывают » мозг, доставляя ему удовольствие, лишенное пользы. Лишний сахар сжигает дополнительное количество витаминов группы В и приводит к ожирению и диабету. Но не это главное, ведь сладких продуктов много.
Сладкие шипучки содержат лимонную, яблочную или ортофосфорную кислоту, которая повреждает слизистую оболочку желудочно-кишечного тракта, а также постепенно растворяет эмаль зубов, вымывая из нее кальций. Такие же процессы происходят в костях. Поэтому длительное регулярное употребление сладких газированных напитков может стимулировать развитие остеопороза.

Большинство газированных напитков, к сожалению, жажду не утоляет, а, наоборот, возбуждает. Это связано с тем, что все они содержат либо очень большое количество сахара (от 10 до 15 г на 100 мл), либо его заменителей (аспартам, цикламат, сахарин). И сахар, и пищевые добавки- подсластители оставляют приторное послевкусие, которое приходится запивать снова и снова.
Если ребенок часто пьет газировку, значительно повышается нагрузка на поджелудочную железу, что впоследствии может привести к такому заболеванию, как сахарный диабет.
Кроме сладких добавок во многие шипучие напитки входит кофеин (около 10 мг на 100 мл) и хинин, а также лимонная кислота (Е 330) и ортофосфорная кислота (Е 338). Соли фосфора, содержащиеся в газировке, образуют нерастворимые и совершенно неусвояемые соединения с кальцием, которые быстро выводятся из организма. Это неблагоприятно сказывается на формировании костной ткани ребенка. Недостаток кальция может проявляться также повышенной возбудимостью, бессонницей, раздражительностью, болезненностью десен, замедлением роста.
Во всех газированных напитках обязательно присутствуют консерванты, бензоат натрия (Е 211) или сорбит калия (Е 202), а также красители и ароматизаторы. Все эти вещества, а также сами газы, оказывают неблагоприятное воздействие на слизистую оболочку всего пищеварительного тракта. Это может привести к возникновению воспалительных заболеваний, вплоть до эрозий.

Американские ученые провели исследования, результаты которых доказывают, что сладкие газированные напитки увеличивают вероятность развития ожирения почти в два раза.
А английские медики приводят такие цифры: за последние 10 лет распространенность ожирения среди младших школьников достигла 9%, среди старших школьников - 15%. Не последнюю роль в этом играют «жидкие леденцы».
Кроме того, газированные напитки могут влиять на формирование костной ткани. Они вытесняют из рациона питания ребенка молочные и кисломолочные напитки, которые являются источниками этого минерала, а входящий в их состав кофеин снижает усвоение кальция, препятствует его отложению в костной ткани.
Содержащиеся в окрашенных сладких газированных напитках красители, консерванты, ароматизаторы и прочие добавки также негативно влияют на здоровье ребенка. Помимо аллергических реакций, они могут приводить к так называемому «синдрому гиперактивности и пониженного внимания». Детям с таким синдромом труднее учиться, они не могут сосредоточиться на учебе.
