Компьютер: польза или вред?

Чрезмерное увлечение детей компьютерными играми - вот, пожалуй, основной повод для родительских страхов. Жестокость, насилие, пустая трата времени - это лишь некоторые ассоциации, которые возникают у взрослого при словосочетании «компьютерная игра». Многочисленные статьи в прессе, посвященные компьютерной зависимости, лишь подогревают всеобщую панику. Но действи­тельно ли так все мрачно, как нам это представляется?

Плюсы

На первый взгляд может показаться, что компьютерные игры представляют угрозу для психики вашего ребенка. Это не так. Сама по себе компьютерная игра не несет никакого зла.

Компьютерные игры - это не только «стрелялки». Существует масса игровых программ, на­правленных на обучение ребенка. Они так и называются - развивающие игры. Обучение счету, чтению, иностранным языкам лишь некоторые примеры того, что может дать вашему ребенку компьютер.

Так, например, наряду с обучающими программами для учеников старших классов существуют игры и для совсем маленьких пользователей, малышей двух-трех лет. Кроме развивающих программ существуют развлекательные игры, способствующие развитию интеллектуальных навыков у ребенка (например, разгадывание головоломок или поиск ключей). Благодаря таким играм малыш начинает понимать, что предмет может быть изображен условно, т.е. неким значком или символом, что, в конечном счете, способствует развитию логики и абстрактного мышления. Работа за компьютером способствует развитию моторики у ребенка, что хорошо сказывается на овладении рисованием и письмом.

С помощью компьютерных развивающих игр дети быстро и с легкостью осваивают алфавит и учатся читать и считать. Кроме того, яркие и запинающиеся образы в компьютерных играх оказывают положительное влияние на развитие памяти. Существуют даже специальные компьютерные игры для детей с нарушением речевого развития, внимания и логики.

Наконец, компьютерная игра может послужить неплохой разрядкой для находящегося в непростой ситуации ребенка. Такого рода способы выплеска агрессии хотя и не слишком поощряются психологами, но зато безобидны и не приносят вреда окружающим.

Минусы

Компьютерная игра, как и компьютер в целом, необычайно привлекательна для ребенка. Но именно в этой привлекательности и таятся основные угрозы. То, что на первый взгляд может показаться плюсом, таит в себе наибольшую опасность.

Мир компьютерной игры ярок, прост и подчиняется четким правилам. К чему это ведет? Погружаясь в такую красивую и понятную виртуальную реальность, дети могут разочароваться в реалиях обычной жизни, подчас совсем не такой красивой и уж точно куда более сложной.

Любые ошибки, допускаемые в компьютерных играх, всегда можно исправить. У игрока есть возможность переиграть, перезагрузиться, использовать еще одну жизнь. К чему это ведет? К  разадаптации. Ребенок может утратить чувство опасности или, наоборот, решить, что окружающий мир гораздо более страшен, чем мир виртуальный, ведь в обычной жизни нельзя переигрывать или использовать еще одну жизнь.

Главные герои в компьютерных играх, как правило, сильные, смелые и умные. Им по плечу любое дело.

К чему это ведет? Довольно часто ребенок начинает отождествлять себя с главным персонажем в игре. В том случае если этот персонаж действительно добрый и умный, это отождествление не так уж и страшно. Но как быть, если главный герой - кровожадный злодей?

Самую страшную опасность для детей представляют так называемые on-line игры (игра осуществляется через интернет). В отличие от обычной игры, которая всегда конечна, в on-line игру можно играть несколько месяцев, а то и лет. Помимо времени такие игры требуют еще и денег (на оплату самой игры, покупку персонажа с хорошим вооружением и т.п.). Когда речь идет о ребенке, который просто по определению не может быть финансово самостоятельным, подобные увлечения заканчиваются самым печальным образом (например, кража карманных денег у родителей или попрошайничество). Кстати, on-line игры являются опасностью и для взрослых, которые могут уйти в виртуальный мир, ничуть, не хуже ребенка, а подчас, даже и лучше, ведь взрослого человека нельзя проконтролировать. Самыми зловредными игрушками в этом жанре считаются: Eve online, World Of Warcraft, Lineage, Counter Strike, Ragnarok Online, Ultima online.

Несложно себе представить, что при бесконтрольном пользовании компьютером сочетание всех вышеперечисленных факторов может привести к серьезным проблемам у детей вплоть до компьютерной зависимости. К основным признакам этого заболевания относят:

  • замкнутость:  ребенок становится менее общительным, сокращает или полностью прекращает контакты с друзьями;
  •  отсутствие других увлечений  помимо ПК;
  •  падение успеваемости в школе;
  •  повышенная агрессия;
  •  слишком  частое   посещение компьютерных клубов.

К счастью, психологи считают, что зависимых от компьютера детей не так уж и много. Но если вы заметили у своего ребенка какой-либо из этих признаков,  то  это должно  явиться поводом если не для похода  к врачу, то хотя бы для сокращения,  проводимого  за компьютером   времени.

Простые правила 

Секрет успеха построения правильных взаимоотношений между ребенком и ПК кроется в соблюдении двух несложных правил.

  1. ВЫБИРАЙТЕ. Для того чтобы не ошибиться с выбором игры, нужно внимательно изучить информацию, представленную на ее упаковке. Здесь должны содержаться сведения об ограничении использования игры по возрасту. Например, если написано «Mature» (или «М»), это означает, что данную игру нельзя использовать лицам до 18 лет. Кроме того, на упаковке должна быть информация и о жанре игры. Жанры могут быть следующими:
  • Action,
  • 3D Shooter - «стрелялка» от первого или третьего лица, основной целью которой является уничтожение врагов для перехода на следующий уровень;
  • Arcade - игра-бродилка в которой нужно действовать максимально быстро, полагаясь на собственную реакцию;
  • Simulator - игра, имитирующая управление каким-либо транспортным средством (танк, самолет, корабль);
  • Strategy - тактическая игра, ее целью является выработка определенной стратегии для победы над врагом;
  •  Adventure, quest- игра-приключение, в которой главный герой путешествует по игровому миру, общается с другими персонажами, попадает в разные ситуации и решает различного рода задачи;
  •  Role Playing Game, RPG - у главного героя (героев) этой игры присутствует ряд характеристик (сила, ловкость, здоровье), развивать которые можно путем выполнения различных заданий.

2.ОГРАНИЧИВАЙТЕ. Любая, даже самая интересная и полезная компьютерная игра может принести вред, стоит только предоставить ее в постоянное пользование ребенка. Поэтому во избежание неприятностей время для игр следует строго регламентировать.

Классические нормы (СанПиН) достаточно строги в этом отношении. Так, первоклассники должны проводить в день перед компьютером всего 10 минут, учащиеся девятых классов - 25 минут, а старшеклассники имеют право на три 30-минутных урока компьютерной грамотности в неделю. Конечно, в данном случае врачи далеки от реальной жизни. Согласитесь, сложно представить старшеклассника, проводящего за компьютером всего 1,5 часа в неделю. Этого времени даже на реферат не хватит.

Но это не значит, что норм не существует. Просто в большинстве случаев они зависят от каждого конкретного ребенка.

При этом не стоит забывать, что в наше время компьютерная грамотность стоит наравне с грамотностью обычной. И малыш, который не владеет навыками общения с ПК, будет чувствовать себя как иностранец, не знающий языка.
